Programs & Classes

At We Grow Kids, we have programs for Infants, & Toddlers. Descriptions for each are below.

We Grow Kids infant care program is designed to provide a warm, welcoming environment where your child can thrive and grow from a bundle of joy to a bundle of curiosity.

Even these youngest of children are encouraged to learn about their world through our developmentally appropriate curriculum that invites exploration, celebrates each important milestone, and supports the transition from the sensory motor world of infancy to the increasingly social and self-directed world of toddlers.

We Grow Kids provides a child care experience that helps children make sense of the world by exploring a rich sensory environment filled with different sights, sounds, textures, and sensations. Each child is able to discover and develop all bodily powers with room to grow and soft, safe places to roll over and pull up, to creep and crawl, and to step out into the world.

At We Grow Kids, we encourage your baby to deeply connect with others in a caring community that helps your baby form relationships that foster a sense of security and trust. Learn to communicate fully in a place filled with wonderful conversations, poetry, finger plays, singing, reading, and lots of smiles and hugs.

Communication is essential,. As parents, you deserve to know everything that happens while your baby is in our care. We make great efforts to ensure that you are always in the know. We love to tell you about and show you, your child’s experiences through daily communications.

We Grow Kids 2s and 3s curriculum uses hands-on exploration and social interaction to help your child learn about the world in a safe and engaging environment by targeting their changing needs.

Through the guidance of our teachers, your child will engage in a program designed to meet their individual ages and stages by offering age appropriate learning opportunities to encourage individual skills. Learning centers are introduced to help guide the children with language (letter recognition, phonics), math, fine motor (scissors, writing), art, dramatic play, and science.

The importance at this age is to foster self-confidence (independence) and self-help skills (putting on shoes, turning on/off the water, cleaning up the toys). Social skills are another important key to our 2 and 3 year olds. Some of these skills include children learning to take turns, being respectful of others, standing in line, ad using manners. Our program helps build confidence to help each individual child reach their potential and prepare them for the years ahead of them. The goal for this program is to prep them for the next room, four to six's.

Our four to six year old program is for children who need all day care. We Grow Kids offers a variety of academics, activities, and play while incorporating the custodial needs (breakfast, lunch, rest time, and snack). Throughout the day, there will be open-ended structured learning as well as a balance of free play.

This is the preiod that follows the marvelous, explosive growth of the first two or three years of life and precedes the serious business of formal schooling. It is a time of enormous educational strides in language and conceptual thinking, and in the development of self and social skills.

Our weekly themes offer a variety of projects and activities that build upon literacy, math, art, science, and dramatic play. Learning centers offer guided experiences that encompass all the skills and understanding necessary for optimum development and academic success.

The main focus for this age is to prep each individual child for its next journey, Kindergarten. Our cirriculum complements the coursework taught by Yorkville School District for our half-day kindergarteners.
